Haruo Kajiyama, 98, of Pahala died June 8. Born in Kapoho he was a retired service truck helper. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Survived by wife, Akie Kajiyama of Pahala; sons, Norman Kajiyama and Bert (Grace) Kajiyama of Honlulu; daughter, Cheryl (Nilton) Matayoshi of Honolulu; brother, Goro (Eiko) Kajiyama of Pahoa; sister-in-law Sarah Togashi of Keaau; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Harold “Plut” “Hal” Previs, 95, of Kailua-Kona, died June 12 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Turtle Creek, Pa., he was a retired business owner and member of Glendale Motorcycle Club. Private celebration of life. He is survived by daughter, Sherry (Jason Kobayakawa) Previs; one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
